Answer:

The correct answer is option c) 0 degrees

Explanation:

In the equatorial coordinate system there are two angles which can help in locating a point on the celestial sphere. Those two angles are declination and hour angle, where declination's can be measured along the hour circle and towards the north and south of the celestial sphere. So from this information we can say that if an object is at celestial equator it would have a declination of 0 degree , with if object being at north will have +90 degree and at south it will have declination of -90 degree.

How does the coriolis effect contribute to formation of tropical cyclones ?
algol13
The Coriolis effect is an inertial force that acts on objects that are in motion within a frame of reference that rotates with respect to its inertial frame. Any reference frame with clockwise rotation, the force acts to the left of the motion of that object; and vice versa.

Since the the earth rotates on a 23° axis, circulating air is deflected towards the right in the northern hemisphere and towards the left in the southern hemisphere.

Because the air is moving in a curved path creating circular spin patterns as the air travels from areas of high pressure to low pressure.

And so that’s why hurricanes in the north rotate counterclockwise, and tropical cyclones in the south rotate clockwise.

I hope that helps.

How are landforms near the edge of continents different from landforms in the continental interior? How are these landforms rela
djyliett [7]

The landforms in the interior of the continents and at their margins mostly differ because of the difference in geological activity.

Explanation:

The landforms that are found in the interior of the continents tend to be old. They also are mostly consisted of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. In general the erosion is much more evident and dominant, thus the landforms also are with lower elevations when compared with the ones on the edges. This is due to the lack of geological activity as the interiors of the continents tend to be far away from the plate boundaries.

The landforms on the edges of the continents tend to be younger in general. The reason for that are the subduction zones and intense geological activity. The intense geological activity is due to the close proximity of the plate boundaries. The landforms tend to be higher in general, and volcanic arcs are also a common sight.
