Answer:

Five different environments are the forest, desert, grasslands, freshwater, and mountains.

Explanation:

 • A forest environment is a complex ecosystem consisting mainly of trees that buffer the earth and support a myriad of life forms. The trees help create a special environment which, in turn, affects the kinds of animals and plants that can exist in the forest. Plants provide habitat to different types of organisms.
 • Desert environments are extremely dry environments that are home to well-adapted plants and animals. The main types of deserts include hot and dry deserts, semi-arid deserts, coastal deserts, and cold deserts.
 • Grassland environments are areas in which the vegetation is dominated by a nearly continuous cover of grasses. Grasslands occur in environments conducive to the growth of this plant cover but not to that of taller plants, particularly trees and shrubs.
 • Freshwater environments are defined as having a low salt concentration — usually less than 1%. Plants and animals in freshwater regions are adjusted to the low salt content and would not be able to survive in areas of high salt concentration (i.e., ocean). There are different types of freshwater regions, such as ponds, lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands.
 • Mountain environments are made up of complex living organisms in mountainous areas. Mountain lands provide a scattered but diverse array of habitats in which a large range of plants and animals can be found. At higher altitudes harsh environmental conditions generally prevail, and a treeless alpine vegetation is supported. Lower slopes commonly are covered by montane forests. At even lower levels mountain lands grade into other types of landform and vegetation—e.g., tropical or temperate forest, savanna, scrubland, or tundra.

Discuss the economic and political roles which South Africa or your own country plays at a regional, continental, and internatio
frutty [35]

South Africa has a republican government system, with a mixed market economy, composed of private liberty and a centrally planned economy.

What is a planned economy?

It corresponds to the economic system where most companies belong to the state, which is responsible for decisions that influence business and the economy, unlike the market economy, which is determined by supply and demand.

Therefore, the centralized economy is an important factor in the country, where the state manages most of the wealth produced, with greater control over the economy.

You watch a volcano erupt non-explosively, then 5 days later you see it erupt explosively.
alexdok [17]

D. high and low levels of silica in the different type of lava.

Explanation:

The volcanoes have different types of explosions. Some tend to be highly explosive, some less explosive, some don't have explosions at all, while some have combinations of different eruptions. The reason for this diversity in the eruption types is mostly the composition of the magma, or rather how high is the silica content in it.

Basically, the higher the silica level in the magma the higher the explosiveness, and the lower the silica level the lower the chances of explosiveness. This is the case because the higher amount of silica makes the magma thicker, so the gasses are trapped and they explode, while when the lower silica content makes the magma less thick, so the gasses are not trapped and explosions are lacking.
