25π units² or 78.5 units²

Explanation:

Area of circle = πr²

Area of a quarter circle = πr²/4

= (π)(10)²/4

= π(100)/4

= 25π units²

= 78.5 units²

The area of a full circle is pi multiples by the radius squared.
To do this, you’d do pi, multiplied by 10 squared, which is 100, so you’d do pi multiplied by 100. Now, this would get you the area of a full circle, and the shape above is a quarter circle. Therefore, you’d divide what you just got by 4, and that would be your answer. I don’t have a calculator with me right now so I couldn’t calculate it for you, but if you just follow those steps you’ll get it. Hope this helps!
