a(bx+c)=d\ or\ \frac{bx+c}{a}=d

Given a two step equation (i.e it takes two steps to solve), in the form of px + q = r. To make it a three step equation, they are two methods:

1) Multiply it by a constant so it would be in the form:

a(px + q) = r

2) Divide it by a constant so it would be in the form:

\frac{px+q}{a}=\frac{r}{a}

An example is 2(3x - 5) = 2(19) of (3x - 5)/2 = 19/2
