First you line the numbers up vertically and look at your first numbers to the right. Which would be 5x4 and that equals 20. Since 20 is a two digit number you keep the zero and add the 2 to the next number. Next would be 5x0 which equals 0 but since you have the 2 you do 2+0 which equals 2 so you add that to your answer. Lastly you would do 5x1 which equals 5 and add the numbers up and get 520.
