Answer:

IRR for project A = 19.71%

IRR for project B= 18.76%

Explanation:

Internal rate of return is the discount rate that equates the after tax cash flows from an investment to the amount invested

IRR can be calcuated using a finanical calcuator

for project A :

Cash flow in year 0 = -37,500

Cash flow in year 1 = 17,300

Cash flow in year 2 = 16,200

Cash flow in year 3 = 13,800

Cash flow in year 4 = 7,600

IRR = 19.71%

for project B :

Cash flow in year 0 = -37,500

Cash flow in year 1 = 5,700

Cash flow in year 2 = 12,900

Cash flow in year 3 = 16,300

Cash flow in year 4 = 27,500

IRR = 18.76%

To find the IRR using a financial calculator:

1. Input the cash flow values by pressing the CF button. After inputting the value, press enter and the arrow facing a downward direction.

2. After inputting all the cash flows, press the IRR button and then press the compute button.

fenix001 [56]

Answer:

In deciding how many hours to work, Beulah will make a choice that maximizes her utility; that is, she will choose according to her preferences for leisure time and income.

Which of the following is NOT included in the calculation of GDP?
viktelen [127]

Answer:

The correct answer is option C.your granny's monthly social security payment

Explanation:

Judging from the formula used in computing the GDP,option A relates to household consumption as the new textbook is not for resale.

Option B also points to household consumption expenditure,as the cup of coffee is for household usage.

Option C does not have a place in the formula as it is not a payment for a good or service. It is a payment that cannot be tied to any transaction.Hence, option C is your best bet.

Paying wages means parting with money in return for value-adding services,so it features in the GDP computation.

Lewin's three stage change process include the steps 'Unfreeze', 'Change' and 'Refreeze'. Jeenny's decision to recruit five employees illustrates the 'Unfreeze' step. It is the first step in a change management process. This step includes determining what needs to be changed. After she discovered that not delivering the customer orders on time is the problem and that is due to the insufficient manpower, she has decided what to do. This resembles the 'Unfreeze' step in the Lewin's three stage change process.

Hansel and Gretel, a married couple, manage apartments and they are required to live in the managers’ apartment as a condition o
Alex

Answer:$0

Explanation:

Hansel and Gretel receive $600 as house rent allowance and they pay the same $600 towards the rent for their stay in the manager's apartment. If they live in a different building they would only pay $500 then they could save $100 which is the opportunity cost lost by them.

They do not have a gross income as the income and allowance are equal there is no gross income. They cannot even move on to other building as per the job agreement they have to stay at the manager's house which makes it impossible for them to earn gross income when in this job agreement.
