en he got there, Kyle learned that John couldn’t come because he had to attend a school camp. Though disappointed, Kyle reluctantly agreed to stay with his grandparents. Kyle didn’t know what to do as he wandered around his grandparents’ property. But one day, he heard the sound of laughter near the pond. As he got closer, he spotted a boy trying to fish. Kyle introduced himself to the boy, whose name was Simon, and asked him what he was doing. Simon replied that he was using his father’s old fishing gear to practice. Excited by the possibility of fishing for the first time, Kyle joined Simon. Soon Kyle and Simon began spending the days together, trying new activities and exploring unknown places. At the end of the summer, although Kyle still missed John, he had a new friend who made his stay fun. Kyle looked forward to seeing Simon on his next summer break. A. Making new friends is difficult. Answer:

B. Friendship can bloom where you least expect it.

Explanation:

In the story, it can be realized that Kyle was really upset for his cousin not being near to have fun during summer vacations, but when he was almost about to resign himself to spend the rest of his vacations in boredom, he found this new kid, Simon, with whom he became friends. It surprised him, since he didn't expect to do so, and that's the proof that friendship can suddenly appear in any time of someone's life.
