ron’s aunt treated ron and his friends to ice cream. she spent $17 on ice cream. both the chocolate cones and vanilla cones were
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

2x + 3x = 17.

$3.40.

Step-by-step explanation:

All the cones cost the same. That means that one ice cream cone will cost x dollars.

She spent $17, with 2 chocolate and 3 vanilla.

2x + 3x = 17

5x = 17

x = 17/5 = 3.4

So, each cone costs $3.40.

Hope this helps!

Can a triangle have more than one obtuse angle?
xxMikexx [17]
No, a triangle cannot have more than one obtuse angle. Obtuse angles are bigger than 90 degrees but smaller than 180 degrees. Pretend we had two obtuse angles both measuring 135 degrees and an acute angle measuring 23 degrees.

135 + 135 + 23 = 293
therefore, it wouldn't be a triangle anymore... a triangle only equals up to 180 degrees.

I hope that helps.

Joan and amber have a combined age of 34. If amber is 2 years less than twice Joan's age, how old is each girl?
Illusion [34]
Joan: 12 years old
Amber: 22 years old

     If Amber is 2 years less than twice the age of Joan that means that Joan's age (12) times 2 (=24), minus 2 (=22) gives u Amber's age. Also when the two ages are added 12+22 they equal 34
Hope this helps! :)
