Total cost = (membership fee) + (rental costs)

TC(x) = $10 + ($3/game)x

maximum number of games that can be rented for $35? Use the following inequality:

$10 + ($3/game)x ≤ $35

Find the inverse of y=2x^2
Doss [256]
To find the inverse, you need:
1. Switch x and y:
x =  2y^{2}
2. Solve again for y:
y^{2}  =  \frac{x}{2}
\left \{ {{y= \sqrt{x/2}} \atop {y = - \sqrt{x/2}}} \right. }
This the inverse. The reason why there is two "pieces" is because the first one is the inverse for y= 2x^{2} if x \geq 0, and the second one is the inverse for y = 2 x^{2} if x \leq 0.
Hope it helps!

9 + 10 + 13 + 13 = $ 45.....combined money (urs and 3 friends)
use a coupon for 8 tokens for $ 1.....u now have $ 44...and 8 tokens
cost of remaining tokens is 4 for $1.....(44 * 4) = 176 tokens
