This is this number .1<u>2</u>5 .  We use this number next to it .12<u>5 </u> to see if it is rounded up or down. if it is 5 or higher we change it to .13 if it is lower than 5 like 4, 3, 2 etc we leave it alone like this .12 But the answer for this example is .13 because the number next to it is higher

So for this equation in .659 the number 9 is higher than 5 so we raise the number to the left of it to 6
