Answer:

(b) 36 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

K is the center of the circle so triangle KMN is isosceles and m < KMN = m KNM =  26 degrees ( base angles are equal)

So m <  LMK = m <LMN - m < KMN

= 98 - 26

= 72 degrees.

Now triangle LKM is also isosceles since K is the center of the circle so

m <  LKM = 180 - 2* 72

= 180 - 144

= 36 degrees.

An old community soccer field, whose area is 600 yd², is enlarged by a scale factor of 9 to create a new outdoor recreation comp
mote1985 [20]
Since we are concerned with the area of the new recreation complex and are given with the scale factor, we square the given scale factor and multiply the answer with the original area.
                                   new area = (600 yd²)(9²)
                                                 = 48,600 yd²
Thus, the new area is equal to 48,600 yd².

7/8 times 1 2/3 I need the work
BaLLatris [955]

\frac{7}{8} * 1\frac{2}{3} can be rewritten as \frac{7}{8} * \frac{5}{3} which is \frac{7 * 5}{8* 3}, which simplifies into \frac{35}{24} or 1\frac{11}{24}.

On January 1, 1985, Marc has the following two options for repaying a loan:
Aliun [14]

Answer:

The correct answer is

K = 29.0123 months

Step-by-step explanation:

The given variables are interest at 12 % monthly compounded

to find the number of months

Compound interest = A=P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}and

A = Future value.

P= Principal, initial value amount,

r= Interest rate

n= number of time units,

t = time

and  F = P(1+i)^{n}where

P = principal,

i = interest,

F = Future sum payment

n = number of payment time units

The two options have the same eventual value

Therefore we have

100(1+\frac{r^{-60} }{n}) = 6000*((1+.01)^{-K})

100(\frac{1-1.01^{-60} }{.01}) = 6000*((1+.01)^{-K})

Taking natural logarithm of both sides we have

K= -(㏑(10/6)+ln(1-1.01^{-60}))/㏑(1.01)  = 29.0123 months

Alternatively we have
