The Vietnam war was the very first war that was covered by the media on television networks. The media reported negatively on the television throughout the war. The networks that covered the war were NBC, ABC, and CBS. This helped to develop the way news coverage changed for numerous years to come.
There have been many opinions throughout the years that the United States was defeated because of the negative television reporting. The coverage was actually on-site with many reporters on scene of the war and coverage was daily.
Governments are supposed to have limited power because they are meant to serve the people, not the other way around. ...
