If you rewrite the equation to where y would be by itself it would be y=-5×+20.
The y intercept would be 20 and the x intercept would be 4

I'm confused on the first and second question
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

First is not a part. second is a part

Step-by-step explanation:

So, what you want to do in this question is plug the value of k=8 into the inequality and see if it is still true.

For the first one,

5(8)<39

40<39, which is not true

For the second one,

8/2 ≤ 4

4≤ 4, which is true

I need step by step explanation for this!! &gt;33
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

458

Step-by-step explanation:

There are only 4 3-digit numbers that have a 5 in the ten’s place and the one’s place is twice of the hundreds place.

152, 54, 356, and 458

If we reverse the order of the digits, we see that 458 becomes 854.

854-458=396

Evaluate arithmetic series:-<br><br> Step-by-step answer, please!
lorasvet [3.4K]

Let's see

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow {\displaystyle{\sum^{275}_{k=1}}}(-5k+12)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow (-5(1)+12)+(-5(2)+12)\dots (-5(275)+12)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 7+5+3+2+1+\dots -1363

So

  • a=7
  • l=-1363
  • n=275

Sum:-

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow S_n=\dfrac{n}{2}[a+l]

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{275}{2}(7-1363)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow \dfrac{275}{2}(-1356)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow 275(-678)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow -186450

a culture started with 4,000 bacteria. after 7 hours,it grew to 5,200 bacteria. Predict how many bacteria will be present after
serious [3.7K]
Start with trying to figure out rate (r):
P = i•e^rt
5200 = 4000•e^(r•7)
5200/4000 = 1.3 = e^7r
ln 1.3 = ln (e^7r)
.262 = 7r•1, because the ln (e) = 1
r = .262/7 = .0375
Now that you have the rate, plug in that for r and 9 hours as the new t, with again our 4200 as the i
P = i•e^rt = 4200•e^(.0375•9)
P = 4200•1.401 = 5,886 bacteria

  • x = 180° - 2*72°
  • x = 180° - 144°
  • x = 36°

<u>Question 2</u>

Isosceles triangle with repeat x/2 angle and a x angle.

  • 2(x/2) + x = 180°
  • 2x = 180°
