The Founding Fathers were <em>philosophers, politicians, and writers</em> who were responsible for the<u> Revolution</u> for colonial independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. They established the republican form of government on our First Principles to <em>secure our freedom and liberty</em>, recognizing unalienable rights, the Social Compact, and limited government. In addition, they were responsible for the liberal ideas that led to the <u>Declaration of Independence</u>.
