Naddika [18.5K]
The answer is A. Sodas are not as good for you to drink as water and energy drinks.
The passage states that drinks like water and energy drinks provide "better hydration" than soft drinks due to the low amounts of sodium and sugar; therefore, water and energy drinks are healthier than soda.

Hope this helps! :)

Lostsunrise [7]

A is your BEST choice.

A) Thunder can only make noise. It's emphasizing that the thunder is performing the action to roar.
Outside of this question, some may not consider this as a personification. The question is asking you for the BEST example (reasonable).
B) Jump is a verb. A fish can jump out of water.
C) Timers do ring. A telephone rings. Simple.
D) Quiet is just describing evenings.

Hope this helps.

In the poem "wealth", which identifies the verse form used in this poem?
yaroslaw [1]
It really depends on which poem you are referring to. If it's by Langston Hughes, then I'd say it's free verse.
Free verse means there are no rules here - the poet is not using any strict meter (pentameter, or such), and there are usually no rhymes. Since this is the case, ballad, lyric, and blank verse cannot be correct because they all have a strict poetic form to follow.
