I assume 5,18 is meant to read 5/18
To add fractions you must find a common denominator. In this case it is 18 as both 3 and 9 divide into 18.

So, convert them to their equivalents by multiplying both the top and the bottom by the same amount to get the denominator equal to 18.

1/9*2/2=2/18
2/3*6/6=12/18
5/18=5/18

2/18+12/18+5/18=19/18

So the sum is 19/18 or 1 1/18

So for this  : 1/9 + 2/3 + 5/18 you ca say like : 1/9 = 2/18 and 2/3 = 12/18 so now you can say : 2/18 + 12/18 + 5/18 = ( 2+ 12 + 5 ) /18 = 19 /18 :)))
i hope this be helpful

Dominik [7]

Answer:

slope =2

y intercept = (0,-4)

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2x - 4

Since this is in the form y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

The slope is 2 and the y intercept is -4

slope =2

y intercept = (0,-4)

How u do ratios and divide because i have bad memories and its to many steps?
Drupady [299]
It depends on the question, but if the questions is sort of like "Person A and Person B shared 40 sweets in the ratio 3:5, how many sweets did Person A get" then you add 3 and 5 to get 8, and then you do 40 ÷ 8 to get 5 which is 1 in terms of the ratio. Then, you would multiply 5 by 3 to get 15 sweets. If it's a different type of question then let me know so I can help out :)

Which shows the correct substitution of the values a, b, and c from the equation –2 = –x + x2 – 4 into the quadratic formula? Qu
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

a  =  1

b =  -1

c =  -2

Step-by-step explanation:

We reorder the equation in such way that let us see the usual

ax² + bx + c = 0

Then the original quation is:

-2 = - x + x² - 4               ⇒  0 = 2 - x + x² - 4        ⇒ x² - x  - 2  = 0

Now we are able by simply inspection to identify a, b . c comparing our equation with the general equation so :

a  =  1

b =  -1

c =  -2

Vilka [71]

Answer:

1,404,000 unique passwords are possible.

Step-by-step explanation:

The order in which the letters and the digits are is important(AB is a different password than BA), which means that the permutations formula is used to solve this question.

Permutations formula:

The number of possible permutations of x elements from a set of n elements is given by the following formula:

P_{(n,x)} = \frac{n!}{(n-x)!}

In this question:

2 digits from a set of 10(there are 10 possible digits, 0-9).

3 characters from a set of 26. So

P_{10,2}P_{26,3} = \frac{10!}{8!} \times \frac{26!}{23!} = 10*9*26*25*24 = 1404000

1,404,000 unique passwords are possible.
