Assuming that the question is supposed to say "how many many ounces of flour do you need to use," the answer would be 21 ounces.

The way that I would go about solving this problem would be using cross multiplication.

To do this you do the following:

\frac{10}{3}  =  \frac{70}{x}
10x = 3(70)
10x= 210
10x/10 = 210/10
x= 21

The measure of angle A is 4 degrees greater than the measure of angle B. The two angles are complementary. Find the measure for
svetlana [45]
Given:
Angle A is 4 degrees greater than the measure of Angle B. Both angles are complementary

Complementary angles have a sum of 90°

Angle A = x + 4° ; Angle B = x

x + 4° + x = 90°
2x = 90° - 4°
2x = 86°
x = 86° ÷ 2
x = 43° ANGLE B.

Angle A = x + 4° ⇒ 43° + 4 = 47°

Given:
Angle D is 5 times the measure of Angle E. These angles are supplementary. This means that their sum is 180°

Angle D = 5x ; Angle E = x

5x + x = 180°
6x = 180°
x = 180° ÷ 6
x = 30°  Angle E.

Angle D = 5x = 5(30) = 150°

find the solution to the system. write your solution as an ordered pair (x,y) with no spaces, no solution or infinitely many 2x-
Kitty [74]

Answer:

(-8,4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: 2x-3y=-28 and x+6y=16

solve for a variable and then substitute back into other equation

x + 6y = 16

x = 16 - 6y; now use this in the other equation

2x - 3y = -28; substitute into x

2(16 - 6y) - 3y = -28; distribute 2

32 - 12y - 3y = -28; combine y's

32 - 15y = -28; isolate 15y

32 + 28 = 15y; add the numbers

60 = 15y; divide by 15

y = 4

Now use this to plug into other equation

x + 6y = 16; y=4

x + 6(4) = 16;

x + 24 = 16; subtract 24 from both sides

x = -8

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! CORRECT ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!!<br><br> Which graph represents
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer: D

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Vertex form is: f(x) = a(x - h)² + k  where (h, k) is the vertex.

f(x) = (x - 3)² - 5

  • the vertex is (3, 5).
  • "a" is positive (+1), so it points upward.

The only graph that matches is the last one, <em>which I called graph D.</em>
