1. 2.4 pounds =$1.68 for Carrot
1.8 pounds = $ 1.53 for broccoli
therefore, 1 pound of carrot = 1.68/2.4 =$ 0.7
and 1 pound of broccoli = 1.53/1.8 = 0.85,
So the difference in each pound worth of Carrot and broccoli is $0.85 - $0.7 = $0.15
So 1 pound of broccoli cost $0.15 more than carrot.

2. 3/4 of 20.8
= 3/4 X 20.8
= 62.4/4
= 15.6 Ounces

How do I find the inverse function of this equation
trapecia [35]

Answer:

y=ln(x/(1-x))

Step-by-step explanation:

y=e^x/(1+e^x)

Cross multiply

y(1+e^x)=e^x

Distribute

y+ye^x=e^x

Put anything with x on with side and everything without x on opposing side:

y=e^x-ye^x

Factor right hand side

y=(1-y)e^x

Divide both sides by (1-y)

y/(1-y)=e^x

Use natural log.

ln(y/(1-y))=x

The inverse is

y=ln(x/(1-x))

Evaluate lim x→∞ (3x+1)^(4/x), using l'hospital's rule as needed. show all work using proper notation. as you show your work, if
Alborosie
\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\inty}(3x+1)^{4/x}=\lim_{x\to\infty}e^{\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}}=e^{\lim\limits_{x\to\infty}\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}}

\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\infty}\ln(3x+1)^{4/x}=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{4\ln(3x+1)}x\stackrel{\mathrm{LHR}}=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{4\frac3{3x+1}}1=\lim_{x\to\infty}\frac{12}{3x+1}=0

\implies\displaystyle\lim_{x\to\infty}(3x+1)^{4/x}=e^0=1

$4 is what percent of $50 ?
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer

Find out the $4 is what percent of $50 .

To prove

By using the percentage formula

Percentage = \frac{Part\ value\times100}{Total\ value}

As given in the question

Part value = $4

Total value = $50

Put all the values in the percentage formula as mentioned above.

Percentage = \frac{4\times100}{50}

solving the above

Percentage = \frac{400}{50}

Percentage = 8%

Therefore $4 is 8% of $50 .
