The manifest was the mindset of the American people where in the 19th century. They believed in the expansion of American territory from coast to coast and that time, to the West.

Pros

-Territorial expansion.

- Made more land for farming and improvement

- Was good for trade and industry

- Doubled the land area of the U.S

Cons

- War and conflict

- Slavery come about

- Many deaths and suffering from many people

- It was unconstitutional
