So you would make your number line from 0 to 100 and each step on the number line would be 10. So go to 70 and count the number of steps needed to get to 50. Then take that number (2) and multiply it by 10 because each step was 10. So the anwser is 20

The sum of two numbers is four and their product is ten. If one number is x, write an expression for the other number
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

4y - y^2 = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x and y be the two numbers

x+y = 4

xy = 10

Taking the first equation and solving for x

x = 4-y

Substituting this into the second equation

(4-y) *y = 10

4y - y^2 = 10

Answer:

4.42×10^34 molecules/min

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply the various factors, along with the unit conversion (60 s/min).

... (3.35×10^25 molecules/L) × (2.2×10^7 L/s) × (60 s/min)

... = (3.35×2.2×60)×10^(25+7) molecules/min

... = 442.2×10^32 molecules/min

... ≈ 4.42×10^34 molecules/min
