Answer:

(x-2)(x+5)

Step-by-step explanation:

idk how to explain but..

First find two factors that make x^2 which is x and x: (x ?)(x ?)

Then because the last number is (-)10, you now know that there is a positive and negative symbol: (x + ?)(x-?)

Lastly, you have to find two factors of 10 that when subtracted equal to positive 3. A +5 and -2 when multiplied will equal to -10, and when subtracted will make +3. Then you can use the FOIL method to double check. im sorry.. ive never done this before lolol

when foiled: x^2 + 5x -2x - 10; x^2+3x-10

Factor : x^2+3x-10

Answer = (x - 2)(x + 5)

Explanation:

Y = x^2 + 3x - 10.

Find 2 numbers knowing sum (3) and product (-10).

Factor pairs of (-10) -> (-1, 10)(-2, 5). This sum is 3 = b. The 2 numbers are: -2 and 5.

y = (x - 2)(x + 5).

A student claimed that reflect a triangle in a line, translating a triangle , rotating a triangle, and reflecting it in a point
Nady [450]

If we reflect a triangle in a line, translate a triangle, rotate a triangle, and reflect it in a point result in an image that will be congruent to the original( pre-image) triangle.

This is a problem from triangular geometry. We can solve this problem by following a few steps.

Here a triangle ABC is given and the triangle is at first reflected and then translated, thereafter it rotates and is later reflected.

After all, these processes the value of ∠A, ∠B, and ∠ C remains the same as usual concerning ∠A''', ∠B''', ∠ and C'', as they just changes coordinates not geometric structures.

After all these processes the length of the triangle AB, AC, BD, and A'''B''', B'''C''', C'''A''' remains the same as usual.

∵ We can conclude that ΔABC ≅ ΔA'''B'''C'''

( As AB = A'''B''', BC = B'''C''', ∠ABC = ∠ A'''B'''C''' )

Elisa withdrew $20 at a time from her bank account and withdrew a total of $140.francis withdrew $45 at a time from his bank acc
solmaris [256]
Elisa made more withdrawals because when you divide Elisa's total withdrawal by the amount of cash she withdrew at a time would be 140/20=7. When you compare that to Francis's withdrawal which would be 270/45=6. 7>6 so Elisa made more withdrawals than Francis.
