The treaties between whites and Native Americans began in the late 1700's and lasted nearly a century. At this time, Native Americans were considered sub-humans, not worthy of the land that they used to own. There was certainly a pattern in the treaties between these two ethnic groups. A pattern of violence and displacement. After the Natives were forced to move to the southern part of the country, the white americans discovered diamonds in the mountains of Texas and gold in California (the gold rush) and again the Natives were violently removed from these parts of the land. The Destiny Manifest played a major part in the mistreatment of the Native Americans in the 1800's.

In regard to quantitative research proposals, novice researchers often find it very challenging and tedious to explain in detail
artcher [175]

Answer:

|t is important not to skip this section of the proposal because without a thorough explanation of the nature of the study, the variables that will be used, the mathematical method that will be used, and the way the results will be interpreted, the people who are reading the proposal may simply not understand the study at all, and discard it not because of lack of relevance, but because of lack of comprehension.

The four main regions of the United States as defined by the United States Census Bureau include: Northeast (areas above the Mason-Dixon line from Maine to Pennsylvania and New Jersey), South (areas below the Mason-Dixon Line from Maryland to Texas and Oklahoma), West (from Washington State to California, Arizona, and New Mexico), and Midwest (from North Dakota to Kansas and Michigan to Ohio).

Culturally these four regions have similarities and differences. The East and West coasts of the country are often home to large immigrant populations due  to proximity to the pacific and Atlantic oceans and neighboring countries. This  gives these regions a distinct diversity that differs from the other regions. Having such distinct diverse individuals can have a strong affect on politics and political party affiliations. Many coastal eastern and western areas are home to large, bustling cities which can house large populations of people who bring their native cultures a long with them.

Stereotypical differences exist between the West and East states. Western states are known to promote a relaxed and casual lifestyle while the Northeastern States are seen to promote a more business professional air.

The Northern and Southern regions share distinct cultural differences due to differences with jobs, economies, migration patterns , and access to public transportation post the US Civil War. The US Civil War was the deadliest American war leading to a large loss of able bodied young men. After the civil war, the South was left to rebuild economies from the ground up following the freedom of their slaves, many of whom left to search for newfound opportunities to the north and west. This often led to Northern states housing factories which were more quickly able to produce goods and services creating a large gap between the two regions.

MakcuM [25]

Answer: Sociologists speak of at least four types of norms: folkways, mores, taboos, and laws.
