The Articles of Confederation experienced challenges during the transition. This marked the creation of a national government of the US. Despite the sovereignty already given by the British to the US, still, it practices its economic and political activities on US territory. Some of the concerns are the transfer of their convicted criminals and trade which should have stopped. Internal conflicts also raised from the citizens are political power and revolutionary debt. All of this led to a solution of creating a constitution.

How did the Enlightenment idea of separation of powers influence the effects of the American Revolution?
Brums [2.3K]
The separation of powers was the idea of enlightenment philosopher Baron de Montesquieu. His idea suggested the government be separated into three branches and each of those branches should have powers over one another to prevent one branch from becoming too powerful. This same concept is what we use today with the Executive, Legislative, and Executive branches. This is because Benjamin Franklin adopted the idea for America. So, basically, the idea influenced today's government.
