China's second imperial dynasty, the Han, controlled the country from 206 B.C. until 220 A.D.

Culture grew and civilization expanded under the Zhous. Chopsticks were invented, currency was created, and writing was codified.

The Qin Dynasty, the fourth in Chinese history, was also the country's first to be controlled by an emperor rather than a king. For 15 years, China was governed by the Qin Dynasty.
