Research into nuclear fusion will likely require a large investment of time and money before it might be used as an energy sourc

e.
Which statement best describes the benefits that would make the investment worthwhile?
Fusion requires a large amount of energy and occurs in stars.
Fusion produces large amounts of energy, and the fuel is found on Earth.

The statement that best describes the benefits of nuclear fusion is "Fusion produces large amounts of energy, and the fuel is found on Earth.". Fusion is a more practical source of energy if ever scientists find a way to contain its production of extremely high energies. Although it produces nuclear waste like fission, its waste is much less radioactive. Also, its source, hydrogen, is very abundant on Earth.

Which question cannot be answered by science?
Bumek [7]
Hi!

The question that science cannot answer is any question which is opinionated. It cannot have one true answer because it is simply subjective.

Other examples would be any question which cannot successfully follow the scientific method.

So, in the case of the question - the answer is going to be whichever question is opinionated. Just as a hint, not everyone thinks endangered animals should be protected.

Hopefully, this helps! =)

Using the following equation: 3H2SO4+ 2Fe -> Fe2(SO4)3+ 3H2
Mariana [72]

Answer:

H₂SO₄

Explanation:

Given data:

Number of moles of H₂SO₄ = 15 mol

Number of moles of Fe = 13 mol

Which reactant is limiting reactant = ?

Solution:

Chemical equation:

3H₂SO₄ + 2Fe → Fe₂(SO₄)₃ + 3H₂

now we will compare the moles reactant with product.

               H₂SO₄ : Fe₂(SO₄)₃

                  3 : 1

                 15 : 1/3×15 = 5

                H₂SO₄ : H₂

                  3 : 3

                 15 : 15

                Fe : Fe₂(SO₄)₃

                  2 : 1

                 13 : 1/2×13 = 6.5

                Fe : H₂

                  2 : 3

                 13 : 3/2×13 = 19.5

Number of moles of product formed by H₂SO₄ are less thus it will act as limiting reactant.
