Answer:

C). They Create intrigue.

Explanation:

'Word-choice' always play a vital role in creating the desired tone or mood in a work through the choice of descriptive/objective words that would appeal to the audience and help elicit intended response from the audience.

In the given example, the use of words like 'witnesses' and 'shocked' lead to alter the tone to make it more 'intriguing' and 'fascinating' that would attract the readers' attention and interest towards the idea. These descriptive details would prompt their curiosities to know 'why they were shocked?' and therefore, it would aid to elicit desired response. Thus, option C is the correct answer.

Do you think our friends have an effect on what we buy especially on young people? Why?
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

Yes, consciously or subconsciously we tend to base the things we buy on what the people we know or spend time with will think. Especially as young people, as more than you'd think are very insecure and almost everyone is pretending to be someone they're really not and a lot are having straight up identy crises.

So in short our friends influence what we buy as we think about what they will like and they also influence our lifestyle and our thinking patterns.

Biased information is:

b. Negative or positive material partial to a particular position without regard to all the facts

As the name suggests, this type of information is referred to as one-sided because it favors only one side of the story regardless of being factual or not. For as long as it benefits the intended side, it is always considered as acceptable.
