Midpoint of (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is
((x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2)
so
midpoint of (-8,12) and (-13,-2) is

((-8-13)/2,(12-2)/2)=
(-21/2,10/2)=
(-10.5,5)
midpont is (-10.5,5)

A rectangle has a perimeter of 18 inches. a new rectangle is formed by doubling the with W in tripling the length L as shown the
vladimir1956 [14]

a) The dimensions of original rectangle are length= 5 and width= 4.

b) The dimensions of new rectangle are length= 15 and width=8.

<u>Step-by-step explanation</u>:

  • length of a rectangle = l
  • width of a rectangle = w
  • Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+w)

<u>Original rectangle</u> :

18 = 2(l+w)

18 = 2l + 2w ---------(1)

<u>New rectangle</u> :

46 = 2(3l+2w)

46 = 6l + 4w ---------(2)

<u>Solving the equations</u> :

Multiply (1) by 2 and subtract (2) from (1)

 4l + 4w = 36

-(<u>6l + 4w = 46</u>)

 <u>-2l        = -10</u>

l = 10/2

length = 5 inches.

Substitute l=5 in (1)

18 = 2(5)+2w

18 = 10+2w

2w = 8

w = 8/2

width = 4 inches.

length of new rectangle = 3(l) = 3\times5 = 15 inches.

width of new rectangle = 2(w) = 2\times4 = 8 inches.

Select all of the values of x that make the inequality -x+6= or grater than 10<br> true.
il63 [147K]

Answer:

2/5

1

3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>Note that:</em>

<em>> = Greater than</em>

<em>< = Less than</em>

<em>≤ = Less than or equal to</em>

<em>≥ = Greater than or equal to</em>

<em>Solution:</em>

<em>Since it given that 27/7n > 4/3</em>

<em>It means that</em>

<em>27/7n is greater than 4/3.</em>

<em>Now going through all answer choices:</em>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<em>27/7(2/5) = 1 19/35</em>

<em>1 19/35 is greater than 4/3</em>

<em>Thus, 2/5 is true.</em>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<em>27/7(1/3) = 1 2/7</em>

<em>1 2/7 isn't greater than 4/3</em>

<em>Thus, 1/3 is false.</em>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<em>27/7(1) = 3 6/7</em>

<em>3 6/7 is greater than 4/3</em>

<em>Thus, 1 is true.</em>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<em>27/7(2/9) = 6/7</em>

<em>6/7 isn't greater than 4/3</em>

<em>Thus, 2/9 is false.</em>

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

<em>27/7(3/2)=5 11/14</em>

<em>5 11/14 is greater than 4/3</em>

<em>Thus, 3/2 is true.</em>

A) The constant rate of change in mi/ps is 57.10, since that is what is being added every time.

B) The coordinate points for the graph (time=x,distance=y) would be (57.10,1),(114.20,2), and (171.30,3). the x is horizontal distance, the y is vertical distance.
