Answer:

Law of independent assortment

Explanation:

Gregor Mendel was attributed for discovering the principles that governs heredity. He performed experiments and observed the results in order to come up with this principles. One of these principles, which he called Law of Independent assortment, was discovered when he performed an experimental cross on pea plants using two observable traits i.e. dihybrid cross because it involved two genes encoding each trait.

In his law of independent assortment, he stated that a pair of allele of one gene separated into gametes independently of the other pair of allele for another gene. This means that the separation of the two alleles in a gene does not affect the separation of alleles in the other gene. Mendel got a phenotypic ratio of 9:3:3:1 when he performed the dihybrid cross, which is what one would normally expect if each allele get separated independently to produce four possible combination of gametes in each parent.

How do organs grow to the correct shape and size?
seropon [69]

Answer:

The size of a given axis can be changed in two ways during organ development. Cells can be rearranged first. Second, cell division orientation can be regulated. As a result, genes that control the direction of mitotic spindles may play a role in organ form.

Which term is used to describe what causes organisms to react to their environment? A. Stimulus B. Camouflage C. Parasites D. ho
Shalnov [3]
A. Stimulus is the term used to describe what causes organisms to react to their environment. Stimulus is something that can provoke organisms to respond to the world around them. For example, if you put your hand on the stove, the stove is going to be the stimulus for you to get burned and move your hand from it because it will be to hot - that is going to be your reaction to the stimulus. Camouflage is a type of hiding mechanism, parasites are organisms, and homeostasis is equilibrium in an organism.

What should be your response as you approach a roundabout?
BigorU [14]
The correct answer is B) choose the correct lane. It is always important when driving to ensure you are in the correct lane, but in roundabouts, it is essential to the traffic flow. Choice A is not correct because roundabouts are designed to slow down traffic and you need to be paying attention to what is going on and slowing down before you enter. Choice C is not correct because you do not have the right-of-way; the traffic already in the roundabout does and you would need to yield to them. Choice D is not correct because choices A and C are not correct.

I NEED HELP ASAP!
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

From factory emissions to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (C)

The process occurring can be called Combustion. In this process, organic matter is burned in the presence of oxygen (oxidizer). It releases energy and carbon dioxide because the carbon in organic matter is oxidized to form CO2.

from dead organisms to fossils and fossil fuels (E)

The process explained in the question can be stated as Fossilisation. In this process, dead remains of plants and animals are transformed into fossils under pressure. The organic matter is preserved according to the shape of the organism.

from factory emissions to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere (C) & from carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to photosynthesis (B)

Two reactions represent the conversation of mass and energy. The burning of fossil fuel (mass) releases energy and carbon dioxide, which is again used by plants to store energy in the process of photosynthesis. This is shown in C and B part of the figure
