Answer:

When drought began in the early 1930s, it worsened these poor economic conditions. The depression and drought hit farmers on the Great Plains the hardest. ... However, even with government help, many farmers could not maintain their operations and were forced to leave their land.

Explanation:

Your Welcome..!!!!

Of all the droughts that have occurred in the United States, the drought events of the 1930s are widely considered to be the “drought of record” for the nation. The 1930s drought is often referred to as if it were one episode, but it was actually several distinct events occurring in such rapid succession that affected regions were not able to recover adequately before another drought began. The term Dust Bowl was coined in 1935 when an AP reporter, Robert Geiger, used it to describe the drought-affected south central United States in the aftermath of horrific dust storms. Although it technically refers to the western third of Kansas, southeastern Colorado, the Oklahoma Panhandle, the northern two-thirds of the Texas Panhandle, and northeastern New Mexico, the Dust Bowl has come to symbolize the hardships of the entire nation during the 1930s.

SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

The norm for standing distance between two friends during a conversation is about 3-6 feet in the United States, whereas it is only about 1-2 feet in Middle Eastern countries. This difference best reflects is a type of psychology:

  • Sociocultural.

Explanation:

  • Sociocultural in psychology refer to the impact of surroundings and society on the culture of that society.
  • In America, the population of people per area is less than that in Middle Eastern countries. There is more flux of people in an area in those countries so this condition has led to the norm that standing distance between two friends during a conversation is about 1-2 feet in Middle Eastern countries.
  • Generally, you can see that the public places like shopping markets are crowded with people. The public transport is jam packed with people. So, they don't feel when someone is talking to them at a distance of 1-2 feet as people of the United States do.
