How does the medium used by artists influence the way we perceive art and the value we may give to a particular piece?
goldfiish [28.3K]

Answer

Medium influences the perception of art because it is ordinary and may seem as simple as anything else.  The medium is the common object, idea, etc, so when we see something simple such as a painted square, we may not think of what thought went behind it or even the materials that were used to make such a "simple" piece of artwork.  The medium may also help us to think harder of the artwork, we may wonder why such a simple square is so significant.  Artists should and shouldn't tailor their work to suit others.  One, they should because it is important to entertain your audiences and give them something to cheer and talk about.  But it is also important to follow an individual's patron because it is more that just a piece of art, there is meaning behind it which makes it unique and it's own.  There would be nothing similar if it was from another artist.

I got another question. lately i decided i should let off drawing characters and try to draw bedrooms house etc.but one problem
HACTEHA [7]

Hi!

Personally, I love both drawing and perspective. So I <em>may</em> be able to help.

I think what your trying to convey here is that your bedroom drawings look dull and flat. I will do my best to assist you!

My favorite way to make anything pop is to add <em>perspective</em>, and you mention the fact that you find perspective hard to grasp.

[INSERT VIDXO HERE]

<em>(lxnk not provided due to the increase in lxnk bots, i dont wanna get my account deleted so just search up on yxutxbe "how to draw perspective" and cIick the one that appeals to you the most"</em>

<em />

When I was a beginner artist, this vidxo definitely helped me a lot and I recommend you check it out. It mentions certain topics that I personally found really hard to grasp, and this video made me feel more confident about the subject.

Hope this helps! c:

givi [52]

It would be wise to put this in the math section otherwise you wont be able to get the help you need so others cant help you when you need someone to. I would suggest putting this in the math section so your question is answered quickly with no problems at all.
