4x-4 4x-4 -7x -7x +___________ plz help

Mathematics

Ok so the question is about perimiter
the legnth is 4x-4 and width is -7x (eventhough having a negative dimention is impossible)

so

P=L+L+W+W
P=4x-4+4x-4-7x-7x
we can move terms since it is multiply
P=4x+4x-7x-7x-4-4
add
just add coefients
P=8x-14x-8
P=-6x-8
perimiter=-6x-8 which is illogical

Suppose f(x) = x2 and g(x) = 5x2. Which statement best compares the graph
RideAnS [48]

The transformation is

g(x)=5f(x)

Whenever you transform a function like

f(x)\mapsto kf(x)

You're stretching the function vertically. So, the graph of g(x) is the graph of f(x), stretched vertically with a scale factor of 5.
