What is the basis of the metric measurement system?
Otrada [13]

Answer:

The answer is:

A) Its measures are based on divisions that are powers of ten.

Explanation:

The explanation for why this is the answer is that it is true and obvious that the metric measurement system relies on certain divisions and prefixes that are based on the powers of ten such as "centi-" or "milli-". In short, the metric measurement system's basis is being able to have it's measures somewhat "altered" or "adjusted" by these particular prefixes to fit the item or subject or object being measured.

kherson [118]

Separating the effect of resource use from that of interference is not easy. A good example of exploitative competition is.

Help me guys please. What is a mutation? What causes mutation?
KIM [24]

Answer:

A mutation is a change in a DNA sequence. Mutations are commonly caused by mistakes during DNA replication. However, they can also be caused by ultraviolet radiation, exposure to chemicals called mutagens, and infection by viruses. But, a mutation usually occurs when a nucleotide in the DNA gets changed, causing the nucleotide sequence to be copied incorrectly which leads to the wrong code for a protein. This can sometimes be fatal.

Hope that helps.
