Frequency

Explanation:

 • The frequency of any kind of wave is the inverse of the time interval between successive “crests” (maxima) of the wave (or between successive “troughs” [minima]).
 • Frequency is a measure of the tone or pitch of sound. It’s measured in Hertz (or “Cycles” in the old days).
 • Humans can hear from about 20 Hz to 20,000 hz (aka 20 KHz) unless you’re old like me and can hear from about 30 Hz to 15 KHz on a good day.
 • Hence, the correct answer is "frequency of sound is changing when this happen"

As the elements in period 2 of the Periodic Table are considered in order from left to right, which property generally decreases
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

Atomic radius

Explanation:

Atomic radius

As we move from left to right across the periodic table the number of valance electrons in an atom increase. The atomic size tend to decrease in same period of periodic table because the electrons are added with in the same shell. When the electron are added, at the same time protons are also added in the nucleus. The positive charge is going to increase and this charge is greater in effect than the charge of electrons. This effect lead to the greater nuclear attraction. The electrons are pull towards the nucleus and valance shell get closer to the nucleus. As a result of this greater nuclear attraction atomic radius decreases and ionization energy increases because it is very difficult to remove the electron from atom and more energy is required.

Atomic radii trend along group:

As we move down the group atomic radii increased with increase of atomic number. The addition of electron in next level cause the atomic radii to increased. The hold of nucleus on valance shell become weaker because of shielding of electrons thus size of atom increased.

As the size of atom increases the ionization energy from top to bottom also decreases because it becomes easier to remove the electron because of less nuclear attraction and as more electrons are added the outer electrons becomes more shielded and away from nucleus.

The output of a plant is 4335 pounds of ball bearings per week (5days) if each ball weighs .0113 g how many ball bearings does t
AfilCa [17]

The plant makes 3.50 × 10⁷ bearings per day

Pounds of bearings = 1 da × (4355 lb bearings/5 da) = 871.0 lb bearings

Grams of bearings = 871.0 lb bearings × (453.6 g bearings/1 lb bearings)

= 3.951 × 10⁵ g bearings

No. of bearings = 3.951 × 10⁵ g bearings × (1 bearing/0.0113 g bearing)

= 3.50 × 10⁷ bearings

A student determines that a 9.8 g mixture of MgCl₂ (s) and NaNO3(s) contains 0.050 mol of
Damm [24]

mass MgCl₂ = mol x MM MgCl₂ = 0.05 x 95.211 g/mol = 4.76 g

mass Cl in MgCl₂ :

= (2 x AM Cl)/MM MgCl₂ x mass MgCl₂

= (2 x 35.5 g/mol)/95.211 g/mol x 4.76

= 3.55 g

% mass Cl in the mixture :

= (mass Cl / mass mixture) x 100%

= 3.55 / 9.8 x 100%

= 36.22%
