A map's orientation is typically determined by a Compass rose.

Option: (D)

Explanation:

A compass rose is also known as a wind rose or ‘rose of the winds’. It is used to term for the graduated markings found on the ‘traditional magnetic compass’.

A figure on a compass, map, nautical chart, or monument used to display the orientation of the primary directions, east, west, north, and south and their intermediate points.

A map indicates the real world. By orienting a map, we are positioning to the direction North is actually pointing north.

When we orient a map and know where you are on the map, you can look in a certain direction and see a real landmark and find it on the map.

Ber [7]

Answer:

It affects the oxygenation of the tissues in a negative way, that is, causing tissue hypoxias.

Explanation:

What will happen is that BPG, having a different relationship with deoxyhemoglobin, hemoglobin will not give oxygen to organs or tissues during glycolysis at times when the sympathetic nervous system is activated or even in the maintenance of physiological tissue vitality, therefore it will trigger a drop in the partial pressure of the gas both in the blood and in the tissues since they will be retained in the hemoglobin structure without being able to release it.

Ecosystems have trouble adjusting to short-term changes.
ExtremeBDS [4]

Ecosystems have trouble adjusting to short-term changes - This is false.

Eco system changes can be long term and short term. Few short-term environmental changes that can change an eco system are - drought, smog, volcanic eruptions, floods etc. An ecosystem can easily adapt to short-term changes. For example, after a forest fire plants can re-grow from their roots. Many species have features to help them cope with natural, short-term environmental changes.
