Answer:

I'm assuming that the woman could have Hh or HH since they don't specify

If the woman has HH, all the children will not have a hitchhiker's thumb

if the woman has Hh the offspring could have either Hh, Hh, or hh

pls make me brainliest :) thx

Do you think the shape of orchids is pure Mendelian inheritance, or is it more complex?
Mandarinka [93]

The genetic base of the shape of orchid is very complex.

Mendelian traits are described as simple traits determined by one gene. The different alleles of the gene contribute to the difference in the trait. This is true for some traits in plants, animals including humans and other organisms, but not for the shape of orchids.

The shape of orchid flowers is determined by the ABCDE group of genes that are responsible for the body plan in plants. These genes are the equivalent of HOX genes of animals.

The protein products of different genes of the ABCDE group interact with each other in complex ways creating different shapes of orchids.

Helppp it’s really important
Elza [17]

Answer:

option (a) because....,

Each chromosome is made of protein and a single molecule of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). ... Chromosomes are thread-like structures located inside the nucleus of animal and plant cells. Each chromosome is made of protein and a single molecule of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)

option (b) not because,

Within that centrosome there are two centrioles. And centrioles are physical objects made up of things called microtubules.

option (c) not because....,

Centromere repeats in humans are made up of alpha-satellite DNA, a ∼171 bp sequence or monomer that is iteratively repeated. Alpha-satellite monomers are arranged head-to-tail and organized into repeated arrays called higher order repeats (HORs) that range from 0.2 to 5 megabases (Mb) and are chromosome specific.

not option (d) because...,

Centromere repeats in humans are made up of alpha-satellite DNA, a ∼171 bp sequence or monomer that is iteratively repeated. Alpha-satellite monomers are arranged head-to-tail and organized into repeated arrays called higher order repeats (HORs) that range from 0.2 to 5 megabases (Mb) and are chromosome specific.

hope it becomes helpful to you ☺️☺️
