<em>The term Latency and Jitter are contradictory in nature. These two terms are closely related to Communication in the network.</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

The communication from one system to the other system is sent by any <em>supporting protocol in the form of packets. </em>

So Latency calculates the time that each packet has taken to reach the <em>destination from the source. </em>

Whereas Jitter defines the time delay of a packet to reach the destination. <em>Apart from time delay, it also shows the new route to travel, indicates network congestion, etc.</em>
