This statement is true. Iraq's takeover of Kuwait led the United States and its allies to launch Operation Desert Storm. IT is mainly because the Saudi Arabia was feeling threaten by the takeovers of the Iraqis in the Middle East, and as the ally of the Saudi Arabia, the United States rescued them and protected them.
