Identify the one illogical comparison among the following examples. a. This station wagon has more seatbelts than does that truc
xenn [34]

The correct answer is D. The truck’s engine is more powerful than the station wagon.

Explanation:

In grammar, an "illogical comparison" is used to described mistakes in sentences when trying to establish a comparison this mainly occurs when the objects that are compared do not belong to the same category and therefore the comparison is illogical or does not make sense. This occurs in the case of the sentence "The truck’s engine is more powerful than the station wagon" because the "truck's engine" is being compared with the "station wagon" which is a vehicle, instead of the "station wagon's engine" and therefore there is an illogical comparison  because an engine cannot be compared to a vehicle but only compared to another engine.

USPshnik [31]
Hamlet is talking about his duty now to avenge his father. his mother is "stained" by Claudius. He is giving out to himself about his procrastination and lack of action. Hamlet doesn't understand why he cannot just put his mind to the side and go and kill Claudius. Hamlet then after this quote goes on to "my thoughts be bloody or be nothing worth". where "let all sleep" changes and becomes action. and changes into, ima kill claudius and avenge dad

Identify What universal themes does Homer explore in the Odyssey? Choose two events from either Part One or Part Two, and explai
xeze [42]

Answer and Explanation:

As you may already know, "Odyssey" is an epic story written, probably, by Homer. The story takes place in Greece, during the Trojan War and we learn about the achievements and adventures of the hero Odysseus and his attempts to return home.

In part I of this story, we are introduced to topics such as cunning and fidelity. Cunning is presented through Odisseuy's deeds, which is the main characteristic of this hero. Cunning is presented at all times in the work, pointing Odysseus as someone who is courageous, daring and intelligent. Fidelity, on the other hand, is presented through Odysseus' remorse for not being faithful to his wife during many moments in his adventures.

Part II of this work presents other themes such as character flaws and hospitality. The character flaw is also a great feature of Odysseus and shows how imperfect the hero is, in addition to humanizing him and allowing readers to identify with him. The hospitality is due to Odisseu's wife, who needs to receive in her home many suitors who bother her and destroy her family's patrimony.
