Answer:

a) curently                  $ 20,000

  proposed scenario $ 64,000

b)   differential               $ 44,000

c) and d)

differential contribution:

30,000 units x ($20 - 15) = 150,000

then, we subtract the 44,000 bad debt and add the 3,500 cost savings.

150,000 3,500 cost savings - 44,000 bad debt = 114,500

It would be recomented As with the contribution from sales will increase by 114,500

Step-by-step explanation:

expected sales 80,000 units  at $20 each

bad debt will be 4% os sales:

80,000 x $20 x 4% = $64,000

before, the bad debt were:

50,000 units at $20 with 2% bad dbet

50,000 x $20 x 0.02 = $20,000

Select the statements that are true for the graph of y=(x+2)2+4 .
guapka [62]
I think you probably meant <span>(x+2)^2+4 because the equation you have provided is not written in proper formatting and would actually be a straight line. However, if you meant for that second 2 to be an exponent, you now have a quadratic equation which would graph as  a parabola. Remember the basic formula is y=(x-h)^2 +k where (h,k) is your vertex. So you change the sign of the number in the parenthesis, but not the number outside the parenthesis when finding the vertex. If there is a negative number in front of your equation, then the parabola is flipped upside down so the vertex would be a maximum, but if it is positive, or has nothing in front of it, then the parabola sits up like a bowl so the vertex is a minimum.</span>

The formula for the area of a triangle is A=bh/2. The area of a triangle is 26 cm squared and its base is 12cm. Using algrebra,
Fed [463]

Answer:

<em>4 and 1 / 3 cm</em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the following;

A = 1 / 2 * Base * Height,\\26 cm^2 = 1 / 2 * ( 12 cm ) * Height

Let us say that Height = x. If that is so, through algebra, let us solve for x;

26 cm^2 = 1 / 2 * ( 12 cm ) * x,\\26 cm^2 = 6 cm * x,\\26 cm^2 / 6 cm = x,\\\\x = 26 cm^2 / 6 cm,\\x = 4 and 1 / 3\\\\Conclusion, Height = 4 and 1 / 3 ( cm )

<em>Solution ⇒ 4 and 1 / 3 cm</em>
