Answer:

z = 109 x = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Well z is is very simple it is 109 because 109 and a are opposite from each other so they are the same.

But to find x some math is needed.

We know that 109 and (8x-25) are summplementary angles meaning they add up to 180.

So we can set up the following equation 109+(8x-25)=108

So we have to combine like terms meaning adding -25 and 109 which is 84.

And we also have to put the whole numbers on one side so we so 180-84 which is 96.

Now our equation looks like this -> 8x=96.

And to get x by itself we do 96÷8 which is 12.

So x is 12.

Answer:

X=12 and z=109

Step-by-step explanation:

z has the same degree measure as the Angle across from it of 109 degrees.

to solve for x we first have to subtract 109 from 180 since it’s a straight angle to get 71. then we solve for the equation 8x-25 = 71, adding 25 to both sides, 8x=96, dividing 8 by both sides, to get x=12

If you buy 8 kilograms of apples and 2.5 kilograms of pears how many more grams of apples are there
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

5,500\ g

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

1\ kg=1,000\ g

step 1

Find the difference between the kilograms of apples and the kilograms of pears

8-2.5=5.5\ kg

step 2

Convert to grams

5.5\ kg=5.5*1,000=5,500\ g

The total cost (in hundreds of dollars) to produce x units of a product is c(x) = (3x-2) / (8x+1), find the average cost for eac
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

a) \frac{74}{10025}

b) \frac{3x-2}{x(8x+1)}

c) \frac{-24x^2+32x-2}{(8x^2+x)^2}

Step-by-step explanation:

For total cost function c(x), average cost is given by \frac{c(x)}{x} i.e., total cost divided by number of units produced.

Marginal average cost function refers to derivative of the average cost function i.e., \left ( \frac{c(x)}{x} \right )'

Given:c(x)=\frac{3x-2}{8x+1}

Average cost = \frac{c(x)}{x}=\frac{3x-2}{x(8x+1)}

a)

At x = 50 units,

\frac{c(50)}{50}=\frac{150-2}{50(400+1)}=\frac{148}{50(401)}=\frac{74}{10025}

b)

Average cost = \frac{c(x)}{x}=\frac{3x-2}{x(8x+1)}

c)

Marginal average cost:

Differentiate average cost with respect to x

Take f=3x-2\,,\,g=8x^2+x

using quotient rule, \left ( \frac{f}{g} \right )'=\frac{f'g-fg'}{g^2}

Therefore,

\left ( \frac{c(x)}{x} \right )'=\left ( \frac{3x-2}{8x^2+x} \right )'\\=\left ( \frac{3(8x^2+x)-(16x+1)(3x-2)}{(8x^2+x)^2} \right )\\=\frac{24x^2+3x-48x^2-3x+32x+2}{(8x^2+x)^2}\\=\frac{-24x^2+32x-2}{(8x^2+x)^2}
