How do graph linear equations?

Mathematics

Here is one method.

For each equation, first, let x = 0 and solve for y. that gives you one ordered pair. Plot that point. Then let y = = and solve for x. That gives you another ordered pair. Plot that point. Then draw a line that goes through those two points. Once you do this for both equations, if the lines intersect, the point of intersection is the solution.

]Answer:

5\frac{5}{16}

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute the value of the variable into the equation and simplify.

2(\frac{1}{4} ^{2} +1-3(\frac{1}{4} ^{2} -3)+3((2*\frac{1}{4}^{2} )-2)

Solve it out.

Multiply / divide / add / subtract everything out.

Which expression gives the unit length of the line segment with the endpoints (-12, 8) and (2, 8)
Mashcka [7]
They have the same y coordinate, 8, so all we need to figure out is the distance between -12 and 2 of this horizontal line.
to do this add 12 and 2, you should get 14.
now using this information, find the expression that is equal to 14.
|-12|+|2|=14
|-12|-|2|=10
|8|+|8|=16
|8|-|8|=0
as we can see, the first expression would be the correct one.
