Answer:

Plant and animal cells have a plasma membrane, a nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, peroxides, and micro-tubules.

Explanation:

Both animal and plant groups have few alike structural elements. Leading off, they are both eukaryotic, which indicates they have a specified nucleus. The nucleus comprises chromosomes. It is guarded and enclosed by the cytoplasm, which is a wet or gel-like liquid. Animal and plant cells own a cell membrane that encloses the cell.

The similarities between the kingdom of Animalia and the kingdom of Plantae include the following:

- Growth and animals have eukaryotic cells.

- Plants and animals have a body composed of many cells that have differentiated to form tissue.

Further Explanation

Scientific classification is a way for biologists to classify and categorize species from extinct and living organisms. Modern classifications are rooted in the system of Carolus Linneus, which groups species according to the similarity in physical properties of living things. This grouping has been revised and developed since Carolus lived to maintain consistency with the general principle inherited from Darwin.

Classification is a way of sorting and grouping living things into specific groups or units. The order of classification of living things from the highest level to the lowest is Domain, Kingdom, Phylum or Phylum (animal) / Divisio (plant), Classis, Order, family, Genus, and Species.

The benefits of the classification of living things are that it makes it easier for us to study living things that are very diverse and also to find out the kinship between living things with one another.

Initially, the experts only grouped living things into 2 kingdoms, namely the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom. But in 1969 Robert H. Whittaker grouped living things into five kingdoms, namely Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia. This grouping is based on the composition of cells, the way living things meet their food and the level of living things. Then this system was changed by splitting kingdom monera into kingdom Eubacteria and Archaebacteria. And finally the grouping of living things into six groups.

Why are fungi fossils so rare?
Volgvan
The reason as to why fungi fossils seem so rare is that they are usually microscopic and often difficult or impossible to identify. Not much information on fungi fossils has been documented. This could be because fungi fruiting bodies consist of soft, fleshy and easily degradable tissues which due to their poor integrity do not keep or preserve as well as animal tissue. Even when available, it takes a trained eye to recognize fungal fossils. Not many people have the training and expertise to recognize the fossils.
