Mathematics

This is valid through the law of syllogism. If you swap lines 1 and 2, then you'll have this argument:

If I step on a beehive, then I will get stung.

If I get stung by a bee, then it will hurt.

Therefore, if I step on a beehive, then it will hurt

------------------

So it's like connecting a chain together. Point A (stepping on the hive), leads to point B (getting stung), which leads to point C (getting hurt). We can take a shortcut to bypass point B to jump from A to C in one step. Check out the attached image for a visual of what I'm referring to.

After 12% the cost of a new cooler is £190.40 work out the original price
inessss [21]
So, say the original price is "x" pounds, namely the 100%, then it gets increased by 12% and lands on £190.40, so <span>£190.40 is really 100% + 12% or the 112% then.

since we know that </span><span>£190.40 is 112%, what is "x"?

</span>\bf \begin{array}{ccll}&#10;amount&\%\\&#10;\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\&#10;190.40&112\\&#10;x&100&#10;\end{array}\implies \cfrac{190.40}{x}=\cfrac{112}{100}\implies \cfrac{190.40\cdot 100}{112}=x<span>

What is 6x-13&lt;6(x-2)
ohaa [14]

For this case we have the following inequality:

6x-13

To find the solution we follow the steps below:

We apply distributive property on the right side of inequality:

6x-13

Adding 13 to both sides of the inequality we have:

6x

We subtract 6x on both sides of the inequality:

0

Thus, we have that any value of "x" makes the inequality fulfilled. Thus, the solution is given by all real numbers.

Answer:

The solution set is (-∞,∞)
