Critical thinking is a process by which we analyze a number of facts in order to make a judgement about them. In order for us to think critically, we need to be rational, skeptical and unbiased. Moreover, this is an extremely individualistic pursuit. Critical thinking needs to be self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored and self-corrective.

The fact that the exercise is so individual makes it difficult to pursue in an environment where everyone is similar. This is because standing out in such an environment can be scary, dangerous or even impossible. If we are only taught one way of thinking, we might struggle coming up with anything different. Moreover, we might feel pressured to agree with the majority in order to avoid conflict.

Why was open trade a strength in the articles of confederation
Sladkaya [172]

The Articles of Confederation gave the federal government the power to declare war and to manage its own department of international relations. However, the Articles of Confederation did not give the US government the power to collect taxes nationwide, regulate interstate or international trade, or direct the government of these states. According to the Articles of Confederation, each state would be responsible for managing its own government and each state would also be the only one with the power to create its own taxes and laws.

Answer:lock in customers

Explanation:what does this mean?

This means that the company or the business becomes creative in creating ways which can attract and retain customers.

It could be to lower down the price of the product in such a way that it will be lower than their competitors.

In doing this they have to be smart in making sure that there are compulsory product that the customer will not do without, which they will inevitably buy either way which will compensate for the lower price .
