Answer:

The technological advancements made by the Sumerians in the area of warfare were war carts, military fortifications, and bronze weapons. War carts enabled men to be taken more quickly to the battlefield and increased the mobility of the army. Many of the city-states built fortifications in the form of huge walls to surround and protect their cities. Since siege weapons had not been developed yet, the walls successfully protected cities from enemy attacks. The development of bronze weapons meant that soldiers were armed with stronger and more durable swords. Bronze also was eventually used for armor to offer more protection for soldiers in hand-to-hand combat. With stronger weapons and more protection, it's likely that soldiers were much more willing to engage an enemy in combat.

How are organizations responding to social media complaint? Adding non-disparagement clauses in consumer contracts Increasing th
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

Organizations are responding to social media complaints using all of the methods indicated. This provides more tools to avoid any type of repercussions.

Explanation:

 1. Adding non-disparagement clauses in consumer contracts. When someone downloads an app, a user must accept an agreement, sometimes so extense and complicated, that the user will just click Accept. These agreements or contracts could include protections so costumers don't speak negatively about a company.
 2. Increasing the legal staff in the organization. In the case of legal actions, the best protection is to have several attorneys preparing documentation in advance and receiving notification of all potential complaints from community managers.
 3. Zeroing in one statement that is not true and ignoring the rest. The community manager can take action reducing importance to any complaint created by a consumer, and disregard all related comments. This will make appear the complaint as something unfounded and will lose importance to the eyes of other consumers.
 4. Deleting unfriendly posts. The most aggressive form of control, and the one that could affect the corporative image the most. Since customers are denouncing something that feels is affecting them directly, the deletion of this complain could be seen as censorship, and tyrannic. Even though the company could set rules to avoid discrimination and violence on their social networks, a comment sent to get help about a situation that affects a customer directly is not correct from a marketing or public relations stand.

Nitella [24]

Answer:

b. Comply as per the terms of the agreement

When an agreement or a contact is made, there is a mutual agreement between the two parties for the terms and conditions of the contract. But when there is any service failure or fixture at any date between the date on which the contract was made and the date on which the property is possessed or whichever is earlier, then the seller is committed to observe and obey the terms made in the agreement.

Leokris [45]

Answer:

This type of fraud is called skimming.

Explanation:

Skimming involves taking cash from the payments made to a business before those payments are recorded in the business's accounts. By charging customers the price of two scoop ice cream cones, the cashier receives the full amount. When he decides to enter the sales as single scoop cones and takes the excess cash for himself, he 'skims' the excess cash thus committing fraud.
