Answer:

x=13 and y=20.

Step-by-step explanation:

76 is what u use to try to find both variables. So...u set it up as 6x-2=76. You add 2 to both sides. The 2 cancels out. 6x=78. Divide by 6. x=13. On the other hand, set the other equation as (-4+4y)=76. open the parenthesis...-4+4y=76. add 4 to both sides. 4y=80. Divide by 4 on both sides....y=20. Reason why u couldnt see x is because the x looks faded with the numbers.

C = ((3.14 x 18) / 4) + 18

C = (56.52 / 4) + 18

C = 14.13 + 18

C = 32.13 miles

Hope this helps! :)

Uh I'm confused on how to do this may someone help?
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the distance formula

\sqrt{(x_{1}-x_{2})^{2}+(y_{1}-y_{2})^{2}}

\sqrt{(-2+7)^{2}+(4-4)^{2}}

\sqrt{5^{2}}=5

You can also just subtract: -2-(-7) to get 5 because the y-values are the same
