Answer:

2.25

Step-by-step explanation:

(6x^{-2})^2(0.5x)^4\\\\=(6^2(x^{-2})^{2})(0.5^4x^4)\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ as\ (ab)^m=a^mb^m\\\\=36\times 0.5^4((x^{-2})^2x^4)\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ as\ multiplication\ is\ associative\ a(bc)=(ab)c\\\\=36\times 0.0625(x^{-4}x^4)\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ as\ (x^m)^n=x^{mn}\\\\=(36\times 0.0625)(x^{-4+4})\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ as\ x^mx^n=x^{m+n}\\\\=2.25x^0\\\\=2.25\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ as\ x^0=1\\\\(6x^{-2})^2(0.5x)^4=2.25

Use addition to solve the linear system of equations. Include all of your work in your final answer.
nadezda [96]
You just have to add one eqaution to another :
-x + x -y + 2y = 7 + 7
y = 14
Then apply y = 14 to one of the equations :
eg: x + 2(14) = 7
x + 28 = 7
x = - 21
The awnser is x= -21 y= 14

An insurance company makes money according to earnings = p(e1)w1 + p(e2)w2, where p(e1) = 0.002641, w1 = -$25,000, p(e2) = 0.997
evablogger [386]
To put it simply, what needs to be done in order to answer the question is to substitute the known values from the given to the equation that is also already in the given above,

     E = (0.002641)(-$25000) + (0.997359)(193.08)

Simplifying the equation,

    E = 126.545
