The answer #6 is j. 100. He uses the treadmill for 40% so that means 60% of his exercise is not on the treadmill.

40%= 40 mins
60%= 60 mins
 total: 100%= 100 mins.
Hope this helps!

The answer should be J) 100 minutes.

This is because, if he uses 40% of his exercise on the treadmill, which he spends 40 minutes on, it means that 10% of his exercise takes 10 minutes (40% ÷ 4 is 10%, and 40 mins ÷ 4 is 10 minutes). To find 100% (his whole exercise routine) we have to do 10 mins x 10, which 100%. This means that he exercises for 100 minutes each day.

A baker sells cookies for $1.50 each. If a minimum of two dozen cookies is ordered, the baker gives a 40% discount for each cook
kenny6666 [7]
I don't see the expression below.
Since the 40% discount applies to the number of cookies sold above 2 dozen, or 24, then if the number of cookies is c, then c - 24 is the number of cookies above 2 dozen. Answer is B.

IgorC [24]

Answer:

The perimeter of the blueprint is represented by the equation P=8x. What is the equation of the perimeter when solved for x
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

x = P/8

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter of the blueprint is given by the equation :

P = 8x

We need to solve the above equation for x.

Dividing both sides of the equation by 8.

\dfrac{P}{8}=\dfrac{8x}{8}\\\\x=\dfrac{P}{8}

Hence, the value of x is P/8
