My education has prepared me to think in a timely manner, to be punctual with my work, not to give ragged excuses for my failures, to always fulfill my obligations, and to be curious, studious and participative. In addition, my education has prepared me academically, how to write correctly, with a correct grammar and with the formal language that the academic environment requires.

Why are Shakespeare's plays considered difficult for modern students to understand
Sphinxa [80]
One, Because it is written in old English. Secondly, Shakespeare invented many words which he used in his plays and the exact definitions are not known. The majority of the terms used are from hundreds upon hundreds of years ago and the 21st CE uses modern English. I don't think Shakespeare would know what "Lit" and "Fleek" would mean if he were to come back.

Which of these sentences uses the indicative mood?
mezya [45]

The sentence that uses the indicative mood is "We were winning the game until the third quarter," as expressed in option C and explained below.

What is the indicative mood?

The indicative mood refers to the way a verb is used when we want to state facts. In other words, the indicative mood expresses something real rather than hypothetical or conditional.

Let's take a look at each option to find the correct answer:

 • Option A is about a hypothetical situation. Therefore, it is incorrect.
 • Option B expresses a command, which means it uses the imperative mood. It is also incorrect.
 • Option C is the correct answer. It is a fact that the team was winning the game.
 • Option D, just like option A, expresses a hypothetical situation. Incorrect.

discuss different types of resources you can use and how you would use them to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words.
Hatshy [7]
I would do this by using context clues.

Example: This stupendous car is faster than anyone else's car!

If it is faster than anyone else's car than you can infer that stupendous means really good cause of the way it is used.
