Answer

Find out the how many orders did they each serve .

To prove

Let us assume that the tony served be = x

As given

Laura,Ahmad,and Tony served a total of 94 orders Monday at the school cafeteria.

Ahmad served 3 times as many orders as Tony. Laura served 9 more orders than Tony.

Let us assume that the Ahmad served be = 3x

Let us assume that the Laura served be = 9 + x

Than the equation becomes

x + 3x + 9 + x = 94

5x = 94 -  9

5x = 85

x = \frac{85}{5}

x = 17

Tony served order be = 17

Ahmad served order be = 3 × 17

                                      =  51

Laura served order be = 9 + x

                                       = 9 + 17

                                       = 26

Therefore the Tony served order is 17 , Ahmad served order is 51 and

Laura served order is 26 .

Answer:

Perimeter: 52 Area: 181-16i?

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter

The formula for perimeter is 2l+2w, so you plug in the binomials they give you:

2(11-4i)+2(15+4i)

expand:

22-8i+30+8i

combine like terms (which cancels out 8i and -8i):

22+30=52

Area

"i" is not a real number and thus should not be part of the area here, meaning this answer as it is is wrong and I don't know how one would change that.

Here's what I did to get 181-16i, in any case:

The formula for area is l*w, so I plugged in the numbers:

(11-4i)(15+4i)

expanded:

165+44i-60i-16i*i

and combined like terms:

181-16i

*i is \sqrt{-1}, so i^{2}=-1 and -1*-16=16.

The volume of a storage pod that is shaped like a cube is 1728 cubic feet what is the surface area of the storage pod?
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

864

Step-by-step explanation:

since the volume is 1728, the cube root of 1728 is the length of each side, which is 12. to find surface area of a cube, we find the area of one face and multiply it by 6. 12*12*6 = 864.
